Met Mark at a gym in Crewe yesterday. He was 20 minutes late, but it gave me a chance to chillax and drink some weak nasty tea. It was a more brief meeting than I first anticipated, but I appear to have a sieve-like brain where I just forget everything I need to say. Especially when there's a huge muscly boxer sat opposite me.
Outcome - have arranged two meetings to film with him. One being in a school which he does his kickstart programme in (hopefully, just got to get the go-ahead from the teacher). Pretty happy about this because it was the story angle which the commissioners were more keen on. And the other at his own boxing club where I can get his personal interview as well.
Still unsure whether I talk about his acting career as the commissioners weren't interested in it, but I think it's quite a quirky little fact to add.
Mark played Chongi in 'Dead Mans Cards'
