Chris Moyles & Dave Vitty 's efforts for Comic Relief 2011 with the Longest Show Ever!


I've just woken up and started listening to them online, and they have already been airing for almost 28 hours and raised an amazing £485,084! 

I know that I'd be one Moody Meg if I had been awake that long, let alone non-stop waffling to the nation!

I think Chris is a brilliant radio presenter and have massive respect for the huge following he has acquired through the years! Definitely not biased from the 'fit' comment he made when I met him... haha!

But I do admire they Radio One team for their passion to raise so much money, and I'll definitely be chucking a few of my valuable student pounds into Comic Relief, whether it be online or into a bucket in Asda. And I urge you all to do the same! 

After watching the documentary "Famous Rich and in the Slums" on BBC 1 the other day and witnessing Lenny Henry, who has visited Africa numerous times before, get so emotionally involved with what poverty does to people's lives out there, it hit me how worth while this cause is.

Whether it's sacrificing your daily cigarettes or not putting the lottery on this week, I think everyone could find something to give.
